Why won Ireland fight terrorists?

Many Irish people consider themselves to be part of the third world, rising against imperial powers like Britain, the U.S., and France. Naturally, they side with people in Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya who are doing so. For trying to free their country, they were dubbed “Terrorists”, so it unlikely that they are going to just believe that other people who are fighting to free their countries are “terrorists” as well. All people who fight against empires are labeled Terrorists. Crazy Horse, Tecumseh, they were all “Terrorists” for fighting the colonists. Iraqis who want the U.S. out of their country are “terrorists.” French, Italian, and Eastern Europeans who fought against Hitler as “partisans” were Terrorists. Terrorists is just a code word for anti-colonial resistance.
