Why wont hp printers reconize refilled or oem cartridges?
It may be that it just needs resetting. I have an HP and when I used compatibles or refilled you need to manually override it. Off the top of my head as I do not have my HP set up I’m on a Canon, I can’t remember which button it was. I seem to remember that it would have an on screen message about cartridges being incorrect or something, so try pressing the OK button down if such a message appears. I would have to reinstall mine to advice more precisely but this will take too long. If that does not work it could be that you have a problem with printer that needs to be sorted especially if its doing it when you install OEMs.
