Why will the checkwriting option on my money market be deactivated once I open a VanguardAdvantage account?
If you recently opened a VanguardAdvantage account, the checkwriting associated with this new account will replace the option on the Vanguard money market account linked to your Vanguard Brokerage Services account. Destroy any remaining checks that you have for your money market account and begin using the new ones for your VanguardAdvantage account. Your old checks will not be honored once your VanguardAdvantage account has been established. Any outstanding checks that you have written but that have not yet cleared through a bank will clear and be debited from your account.
