Why will my pool and spa smell like clean mountain air?
One of the most effective sanitizers we recommend is an ozonator. The ozonator converts oxygen into ozone. Ozone is 3000 times stronger than chlorine is against most pool containments. Ozone has a naturally cleaner and purer smell to it. When you are in the mountains, 5000 feet above sea level, the ozone is more dense. Because of this, you are able to smell the ozone better than when at sea level where the levels are lower.
