Why will members of the community be asked to contribute to the New Oakville Hospital Campaign?
Everyone in the community who has an interest in the future of the healthcare services provided in Oakville will be asked to participate. The new hospital will rely on annual donations to purchase essential equipment and to help fund special projects. What is not well known is that government funding only goes so far. It does not cover any of our equipment needs. We rely on donations from the community to help fund the purchases of new equipment in order to better service the needs of Oakville residents.
