Why will it take until the 2013-14 school year to get enrollment at Margate Middle to 100% of its permanent capacity?
The movement from Lyons Creek Middle to Margate Middle is phased in until the 2013-14 school year so that students are not removed from their current middle school. Allowing 2008-09 current students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade now at Lyons Creek Middle to phase out of their middle school years is a more gentle way to make the change.
