Why will a company bear a charged call on receiving calls from customer?

It is not uncommon that most of the times when company calls any customers, they might not be willing to listen, attend or not turn out to be a profitable customer. So it is better to receive charged calls from the profitable or interested customers, who are willing to establish relationship with the company rather than company calling worthless customers.
