Why White Gold Diamond Stud Earrings?
Many people have noticed that it is much easier to find diamond stud earrings set in white gold rather than yellow gold. This is because the diamonds seem bigger when set in white gold (or platinum or silver). It is simply due to the silver color reflecting the diamond to make it look larger. As you barely see the setting anyways, white gold may be worth choosing as a result of this optical illusion. Know that if you are allergic to nickel, you want platinum (or stay w/ 14 Kt yellow gold). That is because white gold has a large amount of nickel in it.
