To solve this close all currently running programs. Right click on the desktop and select ‘Properties’. Click on the ‘Appearance’ tab > Select the first drop down menu under the heading ‘Windows and buttons’ Select ‘Windows Classic style’. Press the Apply button. You may also have to restart your computer.
