On some GM cars with multiplexing circuits, it is possible to activate the radio when the EED-5 shuts off the power to the fan. This happens due to an electrical spike generated by the blower motor as it spins down. The fix for this problem is to install the GM Relay Kit, part number #88880045. Check the AirSept (www.airsept.com) web site for special installation instructions for this relay.
