Why, when talking about Jeffrey Dahmer, many highlight he was gay?
I think it’s actually got nothing to do with homophobia but purely down to the proven fact that the vast MAJORITY of serial killers are actually straight! I think they only point out that he’s gay because it is considered VERY unusual in the pathology of a serial killer for them to be homosexual. Any cop will tell you that the “average” serial killer is usually a white male in his 20’s or 30’s normally with a history of some form of abuse as a child. So I think it’s down to the fact that it’s so unusual for a serial killer to be gay that’s why they highlight it.
