When a new drawing is started or a drawing template is used it was either created with fractional or metric as the default drawing units. AutoQuoterX reads these drawing units and switches between fractional or metric to accommodate the drawing. At any time if you wish to insert a metric part into a fractional drawing or vice versa you can select Metric, Fractional, or Both in the lower right corner of the AutoQuoterX screen.
