Why, when I first connect an iPod, iGadget X sees the songs but after telling iTunes not to sync with the iPod, the songs in iGadget X disappear?
This is due to a recent change with iTunes. What you’ll want to do is the following: • Connect the iPod to your PC • When/if iTunes asks you if you want to auto update, click the “Cancel” button • Select the iPod in the Source list in iTunes • In iTunes, check the “Manually manage music” checkbox and then click the “Apply” button. • Wait a few moments and the iPod songs should now appear in iGadget X You are now ready to use iGadget X with the iPod.
