Why, when God refuses to grant the prayers of even faithful Christians…?

I have to agree with user “deorcnys’ here. Ask yourself this question “how many people pray to God when they don’t currently have problems in their lives” and “when they do pray, is it always about themselves and what they command God to do” If someone only calls you when he needs something, I’m sure you won’t jump on his commands. He only needs something and then runs off. That’s why God tells us to be patient and continue to have faith. Gods wants you to work for it a little and continue to pray. My advice, be close to him every time, when you have requests, your wishes will be granted easily compared to someone who doesn’t believe and is now coming for prayer. Guess what they tell people like that in spiritual churches? God has told us that you need to fast and ask for forgiveness and your prayers will be answered.

Ade, you apparently do not know God. God answers every prayer. The problem with many nominal Christians and non-believers alike–first they do not know how to ask or petition and since they often put conditions for God to answer either self-interest prayers or conflicting prayers he can not answer as they desire, i.e. two opposing teams asking God to help them win–he has to disappoint one of them–that is conflicting. Another is God do this or that by Friday afternoon—God does things in his own time, not yours. Do not attempt to lower God to your level of common decency. Many who ask God in prayers never talk to him until they have exhausted other sources. Is that common decency. Who placed you up to be the standard bearer? What is the definition in your mind of a ‘faithful Christian’? It is surely not represented by this question. A faithful Christian would not need to ask. God is not a dial a prayer service. He does not perform just because a stranger ask but is more likely to ans
