Not quite so. It was for different crimes. For treason, a man (an ordinary guy) was hanged drawn and quartered as you describe. A nob was beheaded. Ordinary women didn’t go in for treason. For heresy, including witchcraft, both men and women were burnt at the stake. Sorry to disappoint you, but the victim was usually strangled first unless the authorities wanted to make a real point.
