Why were the dates chosen for the medieval time period?
When the Roman Empire fell in 410BC the government and its services were gone. The world was ruled by war, death, andchaos It wasn’t until the age of exploration started in 1400 that it pulled out of the “darkness” into a rebirth of art, knowledge, and science. So, those dates were chosen because they were the prime elements that determined large changes in the society at the time. There were major shifts in how people lived and thought about the world in both times.
