Why were police called to a “Things Remembered”, store in an Orlando mall?
Orlando police are hunting for five suspects after a robbery at the Mall at Millenia this evening. Police were called to the Things Remembered store at about 5:45 p.m. on a report of a cutting. Witnesses said a man and four women entered the store and started to shoplift items on display when a worker confronted them, said Lt. Allyson Skiles. A female shoplifter brandished a weapon and ran it across the employee’s face. Although the attack was initially reported as a cutting, the weapon did not break the employee’s skin, and he was not seriously injured. Police do not know whether the weapon was a knife.
