Why Were Mary and Joseph Chosen to Be Jesus Parents?

Thus, Jesus had to be perfect. He had to have been a Son of God, and not just a son of Man. (Hebrews 4:15; Matthew 27:54) At the same time, he had to be a man, in order to correspond to Adam.
