Why were Egyptian gods so important?
Well, why is God so important now? The Ancient Egyptians had similar beliefs. But, instead of having one guy handle everything, they had several. They had an individual god or goddess for everything. And some covers multiple things. People prayed to them the same as people pray to their respected god today. If some natural disaster hit, they’d pray to the gods. If they needed something, then they’d make an offering for them and asked them for help. That’s why they were important. People had them to rely on and look to for help and strenght. Similar to today.
