Why were Brenda and Gerald Moran banned from Royal Caribbean cruises?
They took 6 cruises from 2004 to now and each time had all sorts of complaints (plumbing, jambed door, etc). Each time they complained and Royal Caribbean put forth some sort of compensation. Despite the compensations they recieved (20% off future cruises, $500 vouchers) they posted all their complaints on cruise blogs and review sites. Apparently Royal Caribbean didn’t like that and decided they were better off simply not allowing the Morans to cruise with them anymore. RC did, however, give them a check for $500 (the amount of the credit promised) after banning them. My question would be that if their cruises were always so miserable, why on earth did they keep going back? If they really were that bad, then they deserved the compensations, but I can’t help but wonder if they were working the system just a bit… Sources: msn.com; expertcruiser.
