Only Eurid accredited registrars are allowed to request preregistrations, otherwise known as bookings. EURid published the list of accredited registrars only on 16 June 2005 (this list will be constantly updated). All providers that used to offer a preregistration service before this date, were carrying out illegal operations. Eurid is deciding how to proceed against them.
