Why wear revealing clothes?
Well, we aren’t going to change our comfort or confidence level for men. Maybe the “revealing shirt” is comfortable. Maybe someone dear to that woman gave it to her. A nice, not dirty look that aknowledges that particular girl’s chest might be deemed a compliment. It’s just gross when people leer. Since we have to lug/worry about/be teased about breasts, we are going to flaunt our stuff for confidence. Some take it overboard though. @whoever said that when women check out a man… She is most likely not checking out his privates! Jeez, it’s mostly seeing if he has a nice face, muscles, style, etc. Some of the looks from men are from LUST which, I believe, is a sin according to the Bible. Control yourself. Saying that its a “natural instinct” for guys to look at breasts and accepting it is just like saying serial killers are allowed to kill people because it’s in their name.
I personally don’t wear clothes that expose my bosom. I dress pretty modestly for the most part. I don’t think making comments or touching is okay but it is silly to think people will not look or stare and it’s silly to think they shouldn’t look after all you put it out there for the world to see. It’s like painting a picture and putting it in a public place and getting mad if someone looks at it.
Humans ARE animals and they do have instincts. So if we look at humans as animals, we will see that women wear revealing clothes because they unconsciously wish to provoke/attract potential partners. It is a million year old game played over and over by all living creatures on earth. It is an instinctive thing that many people don’t want to be aware of. Most women will deny that they desire to attract the opposite sex, but come on, really? When you want to be beautiful, feminine, sexy, it is for other people to look at, to admire, to desire. When you wear heals, miniskirts, when you plump your lips and paint your nails… when you put make up on… it IS for other people. Girls/women react like they don’t like your staring because they also need to keep up the good reputation (in their own minds or in the eyes of our society). By “disliking” your attention they can feel better about themselves.
