Why Water Conservation is important in Woodstock?
Woodstocks water supply comes from ten groundwater wells, seven located southwest of the city and three located within the city. The current capacity of the systems is 11.6 million gallons per day. In a drought year, the maximum amount used in a day can approach 75% of this value. Thats why water conservation particularly in summer months is so important.
