Why wasn Megan Follows cast as Anne in Anne4? Was it because of her age?
Although I enjoyed Barbara Hershey’s performance it just wasn’t the same without Megan Follows as Anne. However I still enjoyed Anne4 very much. A: From my conversations with Kevin, it does seem her age was a major factor to why she wasn’t cast as Anne in Anne of Green Gables ~ A New Beginning. Naturally there were other factors involved as well. Megan was an amazing Anne, but Barbara Hershey also portrayed her in a very engaging way.
