Because the U.S. has a double standard. They will protect their athletes that cheat but accuse other countries of cheating when they lose. For more information go look up Lance Armstrong. He was doping throughout Tour De France and they busted him on it after they figured out ways of testing his samples. At the time he was using advanced steroids that didn’t have a way for testers to check. When he was revealed as a cheater the U.S. media and public downplayed the whole thing. It’s just like Marion Jones she is a massive doper and won 5 gold medals in Sidney. After she got busted the Americans tried to bury the whole story from the international press.
