There are a number of reasons Lohr Road was selected over Maple Road: 1) Lohr Road is straight and flat which provides for better sight distance. 2) Lohr Road is closer to more residential developments in the Township, adding to the number who can easily access the pathway. 3) Fewer easements were required on this route. 4) There was a shorter distance on this route to connect with existing pedestrian facilities.
