Why wasn’t Lakeridge Road chosen for the West Link?
A total of nine route alternatives were investigated for the West Link. Following a comprehensive assessment and evaluation process where a number of environmental, social and economic criteria were considered, it was determined that the current Technically Preferred Route (TPR) was the most preferred route from a number of perspectives.
