Why wasn cost information available sooner?
The project engineering needed to be closer to completion before reliable cost projections could be presented. Key variables that directly affected project costs were uncertain until only recently, such as approval by the State of the Munn site’s disposal capacity, whether the wastewater line was going to go behind the Irasville Cemetery, whether the water main would go along the Loop Road, and whether Waitsfield Village was to be included in Phase 1 of the wastewater project.
