Why was tonights The Daily Show/ The Colbert Report episode a repeat?
When these programs are in production you get to see the latest episode fresh off the satellite. However, Jon and Stephen do holiday at various times throughout the year. When they are on break in the USA we, as in America, screen recent episodes (or other programming) until the break period is over as no new episodes are made in that time.
