thomas becket was killed by four knights afterthey heard the king henry shout “who will rid me of this troublesome priest.” the first knight struck thomas becket on the head, severing edwards grimms arm with the same blow.the second knight hit him over the head again knocking him onto his hands and knees.the third knight struck him again,him again, chopping off the crown of his head.the last knight strode up to becket and with the tip of his sword, he spread his brains and mank out all over the cathedral floor.
