Why was the Weatherization Training Program created?
As a result of the adoption of the Energy Master Plan by Governor Jon Corzine and the dramatic increased in funding of Weatherization Programs in New Jersey, there is a demand for trained individuals to reform weatherization work. A portion of the approximate $118 million to be received by NJ Department of Community Affairs (DCA) will fund the Weatherization Assistance Program.
