Why was the water gauge in my kettle discoloured?
Mineral deposits in water may cause the kettle interior to discolour. To remove this buildup, you can: • Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar and remainder water. • Allow to stand overnight, making sure you do not boil. • Discard solution, refill kettle with water, boil & discard. If this does not get rid of the buildup you can then purchase the Sunbeam liquid descaler which is available from an authorised service agent.
