Why was the U.S Constitution written?

0

the constitution was written when the brittish settlers come over on their boats to establish what the values would be and what the new country would be based on for years to came. its also written to protect us from the government becoming too powerful and to give us freedoms from the governments hold. essentially, the us government owns you and the constitution is a law book that give you your rights as its citizen. without a constitution the government can do what ever it wants with you, sometimes constitutions are replced with emergency measures like when a civil war breaks out and they call in the military to withold peace and a relative amount of calm. so basically its more of a traditional method of keeping the peace within the country and establishing ground rules. the idea. thats the idea anyway.
