Solution Beginning with the Quartus® II software version 6.1, the full incremental compilation feature is turned on by default for new projects. This feature provides a simpler and more effective method of reducing recompilation times when you make changes to a SignalTap® II Logic Analyzer instance than the older feature called incremental routing. The incremental routing feature of the SignalTap II Logic Analyzer was removed from the Quartus II software beginning with version 6.1. If you use a SignalTap II instance or file created in a previous version of the Quartus II software, and it contains incrementally routed nodes, the nodes will no longer have the incremental routing feature available. In the Quartus II software 6.0 and earlier, nodes that use the incremental routing feature are designated as post-fitting nodes.
