Why was the Show Name Changed from Vinyl Toy Network to DesignerCon?
As the show has grown we started to realize that the art behind the whole vinyl toy movement and the elements that helped put together the VTN are out of the “vinyl toy” scope. Frankly the name was too restrictive and people felt that the show only dealt with vinyl toys; this is not the fact. Vendors of the show not only include companies involved in vinyl toys. We have amazing clothing companies, art and printing companies and other types of companies that all have their fair share in the artistic and designer aspect of this show.
