Why was the parade date moved ahead?
Having the parade at the end of November caused a lot of problems for seniors, children, bands and entertainment. We were loosing spectators due to the extremely cold temperatures and the bands began having difficulty with their instruments. Not to mention the stilt walkers and unicycles who could not entertain if the roads were slippery. The parade committee passed a few dates by the City of London and November 15th was the agreed upon date.
