And that has some asking whether this compromises the well-known psychological evaluation by allowing people to “cheat” the test. The New York Times reported that over the last few months psychologists, doctors, and Wikipedia users have engaged in a debate over whether the images should be posted. In June Dr. James Heilman posted all 10 plates to the “Rorschach test” Wikipedia page . The images have been available on the internet and the entry page already displayed one of the 10 images. The copyright on the images expired in the U.S. so they are now in the public domain. Soon after the images were posted, psychologists argued that having them on the site is jeopardizing one of the oldest continuously used psychological assessment tests.
