Why Was Spirit Communication Not Established Long Ago?
Because at no time in history have the people at large been ready to receive it, until now. Spirit communications have been constantly given during thousands of years, but only the priesthood of each nation were sufficiently educated to recognize and receive them. The people were densely ignorant and grossly material in thought, and therefore could understand only material things, and so left no way open for spirit communications to be understood.
