According to the rollercoaster database, Shockwave was moved from Six Flags Magic Mountain to Six Flags Great Adventure between 1988 and 1990. In 1992 it was moved again to Six Flags AstroWorld where it was renamed Batman The Escape. There it was in operation until October 2005. According to COASTER-net Shockwave/Batman The Escape kept being “dumped” due to a lack of popularity. http://www.rcdb.com/ http://www.coaster-net.
