The belief that education was the key to their success in life, made it clear to them (the founder members), that providing education to the children of the village would be their best way of paying their debt to the land. Consequently, In June 1996, the first school, Kalleda Rural School (KRS), housed in the edifice that once served as the residence of the family patriarchs, was inaugurated in the Kalleda village. The school that started with just 88 students has now grown into an enviable Government recognized institution with classes up to 10th standard and a strength of 560 students.
