Why was Option A drawn having Pine Island Road splitting two TAZs; allowing TAZ 620 to remain in Pioneer Middle School and sending TAZ 621 to Pines Middle School?

In Option A TAZ 620 was not included in the boundary change to Pines Middle School because the status of future development within the TAZ is uncertain. Annually since 2004 there has been forecasted over 1,000 residential homes to be constructed over the next five years in TAZ 620. As a result it is still unknown when or if these homes will be completed or occupied reflecting no projected growth in TAZ 620. If TAZ 620 is moved with TAZs 621 and 622 to Pines Middle School, this would impede enrollment relief for additional middle schools west of Pioneer Middle School.
