Why was night lighting dropped out of the proposal?
The proposal for night lighting did not get general support in scoping, and met with some opposition. We can still meet our purpose and need through Alternative B without having night lighting. Our focus needs to be on the critical things to meet the purpose and need so night lighting, the bike trail, etc. were dropped from consideration. The public expressed much more interest in snowmaking and changes in lift configuration and new ski terrain.
