Why was my credit card declined for having an invalid address when the address is correct?
A.) Some smaller banks and some foreign banks often do not have address verification technology for their card services, which is a fraud-protection measure used by the company that handles my credit card transactions. Most American banks and large foreign banks that are up to speed, should have this technology.
