Because Martin Luther King Jr advocated “non violent” resistance & protest to civil inequalities & his “dream” was of a peaceful racially “desegregated” America living in harmony… unlike Malcolm X who at first advocated total segregation from caucasians & black muslim communities only & the Black Panther Party who encouraged armed revolution.
