Why was John F. kennedys presidental administration called Camelot?

Both began with great hopes, idealism, and promise, with key players that were young and bright. Both were tragically cut short. Both made people wonder what might have been. Yes, Jackie liked the Broadway musical, Camelot. JFK seemed to have encouraged the association of the term with his administration. It’s ironic and kind of silly, IMO. It’s similar to people who choose Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You as their wedding song. What the heck? The song was about a relationship that didn’t work out.
