Why was I unable to connect to internet via wireless home hub yesterday.?

You need to establish if the problem is the wireless connection from your laptop to the Home Hub, or from the Home Hub along the phone wire to your internet service provider: Next time it happens, either try to 1. Log in to the Home Hub, or 2. Click Start/Run and type cmd (assuming you are using Windows XP or similar!), then in the command line window, type ping 192.168.1.254. If it times out, your wireless connection to the hub is not working. If you can log into the hub, or ping gives you 3 lines of reply information then some statistics, it means you can connect to the hub. So from the command window (see above) type ping yahoo.com. If that times out, the phone line is the problem and you need to contact BT. Always try switching the laptop and hub off and on again first!
