• Many of the databases, electronic journals and e-books available through the Libraries are restricted to UW faculty, students and staff. When license restrictions do not allow us to provide a copy of an article to someone who is not affiliated with the UW, we must obtain it from another institution that has a print subscription to the journal. So non-UW clientele are charged the extra fees that are associated with borrowing from an outside source.
