Why was Holy Cross Academy founded?
A. Holy Cross was incorporated in 1996 to fulfill a need for Catholic education in an area that currently does not have a Diocesan school. We are responding to the Pope John Paul II’s call for a new evangelization, a task which begins with education. A complete education is offered, illuminated by the teachings of the Church. The school is faithful to the Church, the Councils and the Magisterium. We love and support our priests and bishops. Q. What grades does Holy Cross Academy serve? A. Holy Cross is a complete junior-senior high school serving grades 7-12. St. Patrick’s in Oneida offers K-6. Q. Where is the school located? A. HCA owns a beautiful facility located at 4020 Barrington Road, Oneida, just off Route 365 one block north of 365A. The school is within the Oneida school district. Q.
