Why was Hitler an evil man?
Well, I don’t believe in evil. I don’t think anything is ever that black and white. There are reasons why people do the things they do. These reasons can be very complex and in cases like Hitler’s and Himmler’s, not easily explained. The reasons they did the things they did don’t make sense to the majority of people and we will probably never understand them or be able to see things from their point of view, but I think it is important to note that in some twisted way it made sense to Hitler and to Himmler. They knew what they were doing, but in some way they must have justified it to themselves. They must have wholeheartedly believed that they were doing the right thing, otherwise they wouldn’t have done it to such an extreme level. I don’t understand their reasoning and I absolutely despise them both. They are tyrants.
