Why was GymMasters created?
GymMasters, Inc. was founded in 1991 by Coach Kevin Mazeika to raise money to assist the parents of gymnasts to pay for the coaching costs associated with meet participation. What is the difference between GymMasters and HGA? HGA owns, manages and operates the facility in which the GymMasters team works out. Parents pay a monthly tuition to HGA, which goes to cover the base salaries of the coaches. · Monthly tuition checks are payable to HGA and given to the front desk personnel · GymMasters is the umbrella organization for the team. Team-related expenditures are handled through the GymMasters’ account. · Checks for team-related expenditures are payable to GymMasters and placed in the locked mailbox to the left of the drink machine in the parent observation area for the treasurer.
